We hope you’ll stay awhile. We came into being almost 10 (!) years ago. Things were different back in 2007—the final Harry Potter book was published, 50 Cent was still popular (we know you knew all the words to “Go Shawty”), and Samuel Kamau Wanjiru broke the world record with a half marathon time of 58 minutes, 53 seconds (that’s fast). We’re different, too. When Kim Bilancio and Arash Kia first dreamed up a different kind of athletic apparel company—one based on extensive personal experience as triathletes and product developers—they never imagined that Greenlayer would go on to work with thousands of athletic events. Today, Greenlayer is dedicated to creating the ultimate high quality training and race gear for athletes with a host of environmentally friendly options that never sacrifice on quality, hand feel, performance, or cost. Where will be in another 10 years? Partnering with races on Mars? It’s too soon to say for sure, but we do know that we’ll continue to make even better training gear so you that you can keep crushing your PRs in gear that works just as hard as you do.
